Open daily on Tuesday – Sunday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM through October 13th. After October 13th, the Anderson Arts Center will close until November 17th as we prepare for the next exhibition. Make sure to visit the Southport Quilters Guild Exhibit before it closes for the year!

🎃👻 Get ready for a spook-tacular time at the annual Haunted House at Kemper Center, hosted by the amazing Teen Task Force! This year’s theme is Haunted Cemetery, and it’s sure to send shivers down your spine! 🌕💀

Join us for a thrilling adventure every Saturday in October from 6 PM to 10 PM, starting on October 5th! 🌌✨ For our little ghosts and goblins, we’ve got a less spooky experience with the lights on from 6 PM to 7 PM, perfect for younger haunters! From 7 PM to 10 PM, the spooky fun begins as the lights go out! 🔦👀

Indulge your taste buds with delicious refreshments available for purchase, including candy, hot cocoa, popcorn, and more! Don’t forget to capture the memories at our fantastic photo booth! 📸🍬

🎟️ Tickets are just $10 (only $5 for kids 10 and under) and can be purchased upon arrival in the Faulkner Building behind the Kemper Center.

This week, we had our final Lakeside Lounge concert of the 2024 season! 🎶 From June to September, we had four fantastic concerts behind Kemper Center with a variety of incredible bands and vendors. Calling all artists! 📣 We’re excited to announce the prospectus for our Annual Winter Juried Exhibition!

This exhibition will be open November 17th to January 5th, with the opening reception on November 17th. The fee to enter will be $20 per person for up to two pieces.

Artists can drop off pieces Thursday, October 17th, or Friday, October 28th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, as well as Saturday, October 19th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Art can be picked up Tuesday, January 7th, through Friday, January 10th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, as well as Saturday, January 11th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

We’re excited to have Marilyn Prop as our Awards Juror! Results will be emailed to artists between October 29th and November 1st. Any dismissed artwork can be dropped off Wednesday, November 6th, through Saturday, November 9th.

This month marked the end of our 2024 Music at Twilight series! 🎶🎉 Between June and September, we had 7 incredible lakeside concerts that featured talented, unique local bands and artists. Throughout the series, we had 7 incredible food and drink vendors and food trucks that joined us. We’re so grateful for all of our amazing sponsors that made this series possible, and thankful to all of you that joined us this year!
