Hootenanny is a Scottish word for party or celebration. “It is a community social event stressing the playing of musical instruments (such as the fiddle, guitar, or piano), though dancing can also occur.”
Join our monthly Hootenanny group, which has been meeting since 1988. They meet the first Friday of every month, except March and November which is on the second Friday, from 7:00-10:00pm inside the Anderson Arts Center.
Bring an instrument or just come to sing along. The event is free and open to the public; donations to Kemper Center are encouraged.
No tickets needed!
