We’re excited to be hosting the Port of Fear film festival once again this year! 🎥 From horror to sci-fi to fantasy, Port of Fear aims to celebrate and showcase the Midwest film industry! Have you visited the Durkee Mansion yet? 🏠 If you’ve ever wanted a closer look at some of the history of Kemper Center, come tour the Durkee Mansion! Built by senator Charles Durkee in the mid-19th century, this Italianate-Victorian mansion showcases the opulent lifestyle of its era and serves as a museum for Victorian home life. Admission is free, and the mansion is open for self-guided tours on the first and third weekends of every month from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Tomorrow at Kemper Center, we’re hosting the “How You Sliding? Custom Car and Bike Show”! Participating cars and bikes can arrive at 10:00am, with the event opening to the public at 12:00pm. Admission is free, and there will be food trucks, bounce houses, and more! So make sure to stop by and check it out. 🚘

Join us for a night of music, food, and fun on the lake. Grounds open at 5:00pm with the concert beginning at 6:00pm. We only have 2 concerts left in the series, so make sure to come out and join us before Music at Twilight is done for the year!
Today is the opening day of our “Quilting with the Stars” exhibit with the Southport Quilters Guild! 🎉 Join us any time between 1:00pm and 4:00pm to get the first look at this incredible new exhibit. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you can’t join us today, don’t worry! This exhibit will be open every day except Mondays until October 13th.
